Where: Parade begins at LA Tech Athletics Complex, follows Alabama Avenue to Trenton Street to Dan Reneau Drive.
Peach dignitaries, floats, cheerleaders, clowns, musicians, marching groups and more will make their way through Ruston in “A Peach in Time” style. Join us as the parade winds through downtown Ruston. Catherine McVea (Betty Robbins’ Volunteer of the Year) will serve as Grand Marshal.
The Louisiana Peach Festival Parade is presented by Junior Auxiliary of Ruston.
Where: The Children’s Shoppe (109 N. Trenton St.)
The four categories are: Most Photogenic, Most Photogenic Twins, Funniest, Most Serious and is for children ages birth to 6 years.
Photos will be displayed in The Children’s Shoppe windows at 109 North Trenton Street.
Everyone wants to know the secret! Can YOU the follow the clues and find the $500 Treasure before anyone else does? That’s the challenge of The Louisiana Peach Festival treasure hunt, sponsored by TBA.
Find a mystery card we’ve hidden in Ruston, and you’ll have the key to claiming the $500 cash prize! The card will be hidden on public property and can be seen without digging, damaging, or disturbing any property.
Clues will be announced each hour on Saturday beginning at 8 a.m., until found. Listen for clues on Ruston Radio Stations KRLQ 94.1 FM, Solid Gold 102.3, The Peach 99.3, and Z107.5 and will be posted in this event, on the Louisiana Peach Festival page until prizes are found.
